Andhra Pradesh: Royal Enfield Catches Fire And Explodes After A Long Drive - Watch

New Delhi: In a bizarre scenario, a Royal Enfield motorcycle that was parked outside a temple at Guntakal Mandal in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh was seen catching fire and blasted in a video. The video has gone viral on social media platforms.

After Ravichandra -- the owner of the vehicle -- reached Nettikanti Hanuman temple, all the way from Mysuru, which is about 390 kilometres distance. He reportedly travelled non-stop for 387 kilometres on his new Royal Enfield to reach the temple.

The two-wheeler caught fire shortly after the man entered the temple, an NDTV report said.

The bike first caught fire and as the crowd were witnessing the bizarre incident, the petrol tank exploded. Soon the vehicle exploded, and people rushed to it to douse the fire. In the below video the fire can be seen blazing out of the vehicle and while a few people were recording bike catching fire, it exploded and the crowd standing nearby ran away.

Despite the blast, there is no loss of lives due to the fire accident, reported the local media. Although the reason for the motorcycle catching fire is not known yet.

A week ago, an electric vehicle made by Pure EV burst into flames near Mathur toll plaza at Manjambakkam in Chennai, raising concerns about the safety of Electric Vehicles. 

The video of the EV catching fire in Chennai has also gone viral as it was seen piles of smoke billowing from the scooter.
