According to ABP Desam's report, Gollapalli villagers prevented MLA Sidda Reddy from entering the village. The Villagers said, "MLA, Siddareddy, who came to our village as part of the election campaign, promised to build an overhead tank and ensure water connections. But he didn't care for three years. He did nothing even though our village have several issues."

Earlier, the chief minister ordered the councillors to ensure that the program is implemented in six wards every month. He further asked them to proactively promote the YSRCP's agenda as they have been entrusted.
