Andhra Pradesh: ISRO To Launch PSLV-C52 From Sriharikota On February 14

The rocket was linked to the launch pad and set up for four days of testing.

Hyderabad: The Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle-C52 (PSLV) rocket will be launched at 5.59 AM on February 14 from the Indian Space Research Organization's (ISRO) at Sriharikota Rocket Center's first launch pad.

ISRO announced on Wednesday that preparations are being made to begin the countdown procedure before 25.30 hours, or 4.29 AM on Feb 13.

The construction of the vehicle for the second launch pad at the SHAR Center completed the four-stage rocket connection to the building as part of the launch on Wednesday morning, and the procedure of moving it from the web to the hublical tower was finished successfully. The rocket was linked to the launch pad and set up for four days of testing.

A 1,710 kg Radar Imaging Satellite (EOS – 04) and two more small spacecraft will be launched during the launch. The InspireSat-1, an INS-2B satellite jointly constructed by India and Bhutan, will also be launched by the Indian Institute of Space and Technology (IIST).

However, the main focus will be on launching a radar imaging satellite into the Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO) at the height of 529 kilometres above Earth.

This is a satellite launch used for climate research, agriculture, forestry, flood and disaster research are all examples of applications. On February 12, the mission readiness review will be held.
