Andhra Pradesh Floods: Tollywood Actors Extend Help, Donate Money To Chief Minister's Relief Fund

The recent floods in Andhra Pradesh hit places like Nellore, Tirupati, and Chittoor affecting hundreds of people.

Andhra Pradesh: Following the floods in Andhra Pradesh, Tollywood stars have come forward to help the flood-hit victims by donating to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

Tollywood stars Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Young Tiger NTR (Jr.NTR), Mahesh Babu were among the ones who have announced to extend help to the flood-affected people.

The recent floods in Andhra Pradesh hit places like Nellore, Tirupati, and Chittoor affecting hundreds of people. Some of them have been rendered homeless, many had to be displaced, while farmers sustained heavy losses, losing their irrigated lands and crops for the season.

In the wake of the damage, several Telugu artists stepped in to help the people by donating Rs 25 lakh each to the AP Chief Minister's Relief Fund, which will help in the restoration of the flood-damaged districts.

Chiranjeevi said, "Pained by the wide spread devastation & havoc caused by floods & torrential Rains in Andhra Pradesh. Making a humble contribution of Rs.25 lacs towards Chief Minister Relief Fund to help aid relief works."
