Six Dead, 20 Injured After Two Trucks & Bus Collides In Andhra Pradesh
The accident took place when a truck carrying two oxen heading to Srikalahasti was hit by another truck carrying iron from behind at 2 AM.
Six persons died while 20 others suffered injuries after two trucks and a private bus were involved in an accident at Musunuru toll plaza in Nellore district early on Saturday. The mishap took place when a truck carrying two oxen heading to Srikalahasti was hit by another truck carrying iron from behind at 2 AM.
According to ANI, Kavali DSP Venkataramana confirmed the death of four persons on the spot and said that 15 others suffered injuries after a lorry collided with a bus on Musunuru Toll Plaza, in Nellore District.
Four people died on the spot, he said adding two others died at the Nellore government hospital.

Talking to PTI, Kavali sub-divisional police officer Venkata Ramana said, "The driver of the iron-laden truck lost control of the vehicle and rammed the private bus coming in the opposite direction."
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer conveyed deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences regarding the mishap. “The Governor offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members,” said a press release from Raj Bhavan, as per PTI.
A case has been registered. Further investigations are on.
Last month, one person died and two others including MLC Parvathareddy Chandrasekhar Reddy suffered injuries in an accident in Andhra Pradesh’s Nellore district. The mishap took place when the MLC's car collided with a lorry in Dagadarthi.
The MLC's assistant Venkateswarlu died on the spot while the MLC and his driver suffered injuries.
In November, eight students suffered injures after the auto in which they were traveling collided with a lorry near Sangam Sarat Theatre in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday.
