Melania Trump's lookalike thinks First Lady is over Trump
Washington D.C. [United States], Feb 12 (ANI): The actress who impersonates Melania Trump "thinks" that the US First Lady is "pretty over" President Donald Trump.
Laura Benanti, whose Melania impressions feature on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, made the comments to the New York Daily News' Confidential at the Woman's Day Red Dress Awards, reported the Hill.
"I like to think that we are all Melania Trump now," adding, "We're all reluctantly married to Donald Trump and we're all pretty furious but trying to save face so that's what I like to bring to the impersonation. Yeah, I think she's pretty over him right now like the rest of us."
Furthermore, the American actress has offered to trade places with the first lady if she ever needs a break from her husband, commenting: "I would love to do her a solid and let her go get some rest."
Melania Trump and her husband have drawn media interest after a bombshell report which revealed that a porn star Stormy Daniels was paid $130,000 just before the 2016 election to keep quiet about an affair she had had a decade earlier with Trump - when the Trumps were newlyweds, and while Melania was pregnant with their son, Barron, has surfaced.
