6.4 magnitude earthquake rattles Indonesia

Jakarta [Indonesia], July 29 (ANI): An earthquake measuring 6.4 magnitude on the Richter Scale struck off eastern Indonesia on Sunday, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).

There has been no warning of a Tsunami by the USGS.

Further details are currently awaited.

Indonesia is located in the Ring of Fire, an area in the basin of the Pacific Ocean, which is vulnerable to frequent earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. (ANI)
