Uttar Pradesh News: Contaminated Waters Leaves Over 700 Sick At Ghaziabad's Saya Gold Avenue Society
Hundreds of residents at Ghaziabad's Saya Gold Avenue Society fell ill allegedly after drinking contaminated water. A team of the health department, that arrived at the high-rise after receiving complaints about the same, conducted rounds of inspections and provided primary treatment to those affected. According to the residents of society, many, including children, have been complaining of ill health with similar symptoms including vomiting, diarrhoea, and fever, for the past few days.Complaints were lodged with the RWA (Resident Welfare Association) after residents noticed contaminated drinking water. They also said the issue had previously been raised with the society authorities and the builder, but to no vain.
