Security arrangements have been made stringent in Jammu and Kashmir as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the Union Territory on April 24 to address panchayats on the occasion of Panchayati Raj Diwas, reported news agency ANI. Concerns were raised after banned terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad attempted a suicide attack, 17 kilomteres from the place where PM Modi is scheduled to visit on April 24. The attempt was foiled following an encounter on Friday where two suspected Pakistani terrorists were shot down and one personnel of the CISF was also killed, PTI had reported.
