JNU Registrar wants police deployment in campus in civil clothes
Jawaharlal Nehru University Registrar, Pramod Kumar, was talking to the media when he said that no more violent activities had been reported since Sunday. He added by saying that he had written to Delhi police over deploying officials near sensitive areas in civil clothes. He also added that misinformation among students regarding fee-hike led to chaos in the premises. " We are trying to make the students understand so that the registration process can be restarted. The administration is in contact with the students who are protesting. It is a total myth that we do not talk to them," he said.
