Gujarat Flood: Devastating Deluge Engulfs Everything from Ahmedabad to Rajkot | ABP News

In Gujarat, relentless heavy rains over the past 48 hours have shattered several records, leading to severe flooding in more than a dozen districts. The downpour has been so intense that it has disrupted normal life, causing rivers to overflow and submerging several areas. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert, warning of continued heavy rainfall in the region. As a result of the flooding, rescue operations have been initiated on a large scale. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has deployed 13 teams, while the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has mobilized 22 teams to assist in rescue and relief operations. These teams are working round the clock to evacuate people from the worst-hit areas, provide relief supplies, and ensure that the affected communities receive the necessary support. The situation remains critical, with many roads and infrastructure damaged due to the incessant rainfall. Authorities are urging people to stay indoors and follow safety guidelines. Emergency services are on high alert, and the government is closely monitoring the situation to prevent any further casualties. The impact of this extreme weather is expected to be felt for several days as the state grapples with the aftermath of the floods.
