Delhi: Huts in slums washed away in seconds
Delhi's Anna Nagar slum is barely a few km away from the ITO intersection. Due to incessant rain, the 'naala' flowing through the area saw a huge rise in the volume of water which led to the current cutting through the soil in the area. Hence, the ground weakened and many huts collapsed and washed away. Earlier, a man's dead body was found in the water-logged under-bridge of Minto Road.
