Chennai: Migrant labourers travel 1800 km on bike to reach home

Amid lockdown, migrant workers want to reach their home towns in other states at any cost. This picture comes amid the government claims that they have made arrangements for the migrants so that they can reach their homes safely. But the reality is far more different and that is why the labourers are forced to opt for such risky options and put their lives at stake.
