Farmer Protest 2.0: Protesting farmers carry shield of steel plates to safeguard themselves

Farmers on Khanauri border have made a home-made solution to deactivate the tear gas shells. Shields have been made of steel plates and bores have been tied on them so that when tear gas shells are fired, the tear shells can be neutralized by wetting these bores and placing a shield over them. Continuous announcements are being made by the security forces that they should not come forward.. On the other hand, announcements are being made from the farmers also that peace has to be maintained.
