NDA divided over Citizenship Amendment Act? | Samvidhan Ki Shapath

As protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act continue in the country, several political parties are strongly registering their presence in the opposition of the law. Amit Shah, while addressing a rally in Lucknow, cleared the confusion associated with CAA and reiterated that the law will not be withdrawn. At the same time, the Akali Dal, one of the oldest allies of NDA, left the BJP as it decided not to contest Delhi elections voicing their disagreement against exclusion of Muslim community in the new legislation.
