Woman Uses Matrimonial Site To Compare Salaries Of Companies. 'Best Thought Process', Say Netizens

"wondering if Jeevansathi.com can actually monetize this data - maybe ask people registered (and non-paying) to pay everytime they want to see it?" wrote one user.

We Indians are very good at Jugaad, a quick-fix solution for problems. In fact the word has found a place for itself in the Oxford Dictionary, which defines it as a "flexible approach to solving a problem using limited resources innovatively." In yet another Jugaad a woman used a matrimonial site to advance ahead in her career and not to find a groom for herself.

A Linkedin post shared by Ashveen Bansal is bound to leave you impressed. Bansal mentioned how his friend used the matchmaking platform to choose and compare the salary structures offered by companies to advance ahead in her career.

"So a friend told me she is using Jeevansathi.com to see compensation of different companies through people’s profiles and then applying there," read the viral post.

"I agree with and this is one of the best thought process," wrote one Linkedin user.

"We knew people were using FB and other social for dating. Now this is a new use of matrimony site, actually this could be a very good data point if they had not put fake salary to look good in the marriage market," wrote another

"wondering if Jeevansathi.com can actually monetize this data - maybe ask people registered (and non-paying) to pay everytime they want to see it?" wrote a third.

"Innovative thinking. She is going to do wonders. One filter two goals : find a high earning husband + get yourself a high paying job," wrote a fourth.

"What she didn't know is that half of population lie about their salaries on marriage portals," wrote another jokingly.
