Woman's Bharatanatyam Performance Outside Washington Monument Leaves Netizens Amazed

There are several dance performance videos shared everyday on the internet. Some of them go on to do very well and amass great number of views and likes. One such video that has gone viral on social media has a woman performing Bharatanatyam outside the iconic Washington Monument.
Shred on Instagram by Bharatanatyam artist Swathi Jaisankar, the clip opens to show her wearing a floral Kurta and a black bottom, gracefully performing the traditional Indian dance to the beats of a song. One can also hear people gathered around her cheer as she dances.
"Did a quick spontaneous choreography to this jathi during my trip to DC! Shoutout to the sweetest crowd," read the caption of the post shared by Jaisankar.
Since being posted on Instagram, the video of the dance performance has amassed over 8 lakh views and 50,746 likes. The comments box has also been filled with admirations for the artist.
