Woman Orders Apple Watch For Rs 50,900 On Amazon, Claims She Was Delivered Fake Watch
"I also faced same issue with @amazonIN. Thy send fake product then refuse to refund or replace. Standard practice for expensive products," commented one user on the post.
Online shopping has made our lives extremely easy today. But one of the biggest drawbacks of this mode of delivery is that items sometimes get mixed-up and can end up receiving something you didn't order. Something similar recently happened to an online shopping app user who ordered an Apple watch from Amazon.
Sanaya who took to the microblogging site Twitter to share photos of the order, claimed she was delivered a “FitLife” watch on July 9 instead of Apple Watch Series 8 that she had ordered on July 8.
"NEVER ORDER FROM AMAZON!!! I ordered an @Apple watch series 8 from @amazon on 8th July. However, on the 9th I received a fake 'FitLife' watch. Despite several calls, @AmazonHelp refuses to budge. Refer to the pictures for more details. Get this resolved ASAP," read the caption of the post shared along with some pictures of the delivered item.

However, Amazon replied to Sanya and wrote, "We apologize for the inconvenience you've had with your order. Please reach out to us via DM. We will do our best to assist. Further, please don’t provide your order/account details over DM as we consider them to be personal information."
The post shared just yesterday, July 11, has amassed close to 8 lakh views, 5,165 likes and tons of comments criticising the online shopping app.
