The Indian railways is among the most cheapest forms of travel in the country which is why a large number of people still prefer a train journey over taking a flight of other modes of transport. Trains also reach to the farthest corners of the country and therefore becomes the first choice of travellers. But have you ever imagined what would it be like to travel in a luxury train in India and the cost one would pay for it?
Maharajas' Express, operated by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), offers a luxury train travel experience to passengers.
"The Maharajas' Express recreates that exclusive experience for its guests. An opportunity to travel in this one-of-a-kind train, being served by friendly butlers while visiting India's most splendid tourist attractions in all their glory, would appeal to any individual," reads the official website of Maharajas' Express.
There are four routes to chose from to travel for seven days and enjoy the luxury that the Maharajas' Express provides. The Indian Panaroma, Treasures of India, The Indian Splendour and The Heritage Of India are the journeys that one can opt from.
An Instagram blogger @kushagratayal shared the inside of the train that has left netizens in awe. In the video one can see the presidential suite of the train that is about the size of a single railway coach as described by the user.
It has two master bedrooms, an attached bathroom that is well furnished, dining areas, and more. There is also a dedicated butler service, complimentary mini bar, air conditioning, Wi-Fi facility, Live Television and DVD players among many others.The cost booking the room is more than 19 lacs, according to the blogger.
Since being shared on Instagram with the caption, "Have you ever seen this Most Expensive ticket coach of the Indian Railways?", the video has garnered 66,050 likes and several comments.

One seeing the clip, one of the user wrote, "I’ll prefer buying a property for that rate."
