In a now-viral video shared on Instagram by Lalit Modi himself, the duo is seen singing Frank Sinatra’s classic 'I Did It My Way' at a flamboyant bash hosted at Modi’s residence in London.

A video of Vijay Mallya and Lalit Modi singing karaoke has gone viral, sparking reactions online for both their rare public appearance and the bold choice of song, given their history with Indian authorities.

Lalit Modi, who formerly helmed the Indian Premier League (IPL), and Vijay Mallya, once the face of India’s luxury liquor and aviation empires, are both wanted in India on various charges, including financial fraud. However, that didn’t stop them from living it up in true high society fashion.

The glittering celebration reportedly saw the attendance of over 310 guests, with many flying in from across the globe. 

In his social media post, Lalit Modi acknowledged the buzz surrounding the event, writing: "Had an amazing night with 310 friends and family a lot who travelled specially for this event thank you to one and all who attended this evening and made it one of the most special night for me."

Among the attendees was former Royal Challengers Bengaluru cricketer Chris Gayle, who took to Instagram to share a snapshot from the evening. Posing with both Modi and Mallya, he captioned the post, “We living it up. Thanks for a lovely evening,” tagging both hosts.

Lalit Modi also gave a shoutout to musician Carlton Braganza for the karaoke arrangement and dubbed Gayle “Universe Boss” in his tribute.
