Elon Musk Calls Out Billionaire Vinod Khosla For Placing ‘No Plebs Allowed’ Sign On Beach Near Property

The ordeal around Khosla’s beach restriction began earlier in 2008 when he acquired a $32.5 million beachside mansion. Soon after, he put a gate blocking the general public from accessing the beach

Billionaire Elon Musk called out Indian-American billionaire, Vinod Khosla, for keeping a section of the beach near his property in California out of access from the public. The Tesla founder slammed Khosla for restricting access for general people to the beach.

Sharing the details in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Musk called Khosla out for erecting a sign saying ‘No plebs allowed’ on the beach. Taking the matter further, he said he will now throw a barbecue party at the very beach Khosla was allegedly restricting public access to.

Continuing his attack, Musk wrote another post on X and said, “Vinod says we should send tens of thousands of unvetted migrants to small towns throughout America, but he didn’t even want to let the public walk on his beach.”

The post attracted a lot of attention online and triggered a discussion amongst Netizens about how ethical or legal it is to restrict the public from accessing a beach. One of the users said, “No one has ever hated the rural poor like managerial elites. This was true even in Roman times.”

Notably, the ordeal around Khosla’s beach restriction began earlier in 2008 when he acquired a $32.5 million beachside mansion. Soon after, he put a gate blocking the general public from accessing the beach, reported India Today. Legally, the billionaire’s team stated that Khosla had every right to place that gate since he owned the land, however, environmentalists and beachgoers made a different argument.
