Rahul Gandhi Boards Train To Travel From Bilaspur To Raipur In Poll-Bound Chhattisgarh — WATCH
Congress leader and member of parliament Rahul Gandhi boarded a train to travel from Bilaspur to Raipur in Chhattisgarh.
Congress leader and member of parliament Rahul Gandhi on Monday boarded a train to travel from Bilaspur to Raipur in Chhattisgarh. In a video posted by news agency ANI on X (formerly Twitter), Rahul Gandhi was seen interacting with the passengers present inside the train. This took place during Gandhi’s one-day visit to the state after he attended the Awas Nyay Sammeelan (ANS) held in Thakhatpur Tehsil of Bilaspur district.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took the train journey from Bilaspur after addressing the event held to dedicate public development works worth crores of rupees in Raipur. Polls are to be held in Chhattisgarh at the end of the year.

Gandhi boarded an Intercity train from Bilaspur along with Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, party's state in charge Kumari Selja and state unit Chief Dipak Baij, among others. The ruling Congress has routinely said the railway ministry had cancelled 2,600 trains in the state in the last few months, which was causing immense hardship to people, reported news agency PTI.
Earlier in September, Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also met coolies at Anand Vihar Railway Station in Delhi. In a video shared on X, Gandhi was seen sitting with the coolies at the station. This had taken place days after several coolies had expressed their desire to meet him.
Interestingly, during the interaction with coolies in the national capital, Gandhi was seen wearing coolie dress and badge.
Rahul Gandhi Interacts With Vegetable Vendors
Earlier in August, Rahul Gandhi had also visited Delhi’s Azadpur Mandi. In a video shared by the Congress, Gandhi was seen interacting with vegetable and fruit vendors during his surprise visit. That took place when the prices of vegetables were on the rise all over the country.
Rahul Gandhi Interacts With Harayana Farmers
In July, the Wayanad MP, who was travelling from Delhi to Shimla, also reached Haryana’s Sonipat. He met farmers at various villages in Baroda and joined the farmers in sowing as they worked in the fields in Baroda and Madina.
Gandhi went into the field, ploughed it with a tractor, and planted paddy. He also interacted with farmers and labourers in the field.
