WATCH: No Budget Is Complete Without Watching THIS Iconic Ramdas Athawale Reaction Video

There’s one tradition that always adds a light-hearted touch to Budget Day i.e. Ramdas Athawale’s honest and unfiltered reactions from the past!

If you’re up on a Saturday morning, eagerly tuning into the pre-budget show and gearing up for Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s speech in Parliament— kudos to you! Every year, expectations run high for the Union Budget, as this crucial document not only defines the nation’s growth trajectory but also directly impacts the common citizen, especially when it comes to direct taxes.

While every concerned citizen should watch the Budget, not everyone follows the jargon-laced speech of the Finance Minister. At times, it takes experts, economists, and financial analysts to break it down into simpler, digestible insights. But don’t worry—you’re not alone! Turns out, even some of our esteemed parliamentarians seem to prefer a more straightforward analysis.

The Unmissable Ramdas Athawale Budget Reaction

As the nation gets ready for Sitharaman to unveil the 'Bahi Khata' of expectations, there’s one tradition that always adds a light-hearted touch to Budget Day i.e. Ramdas Athawale’s honest and unfiltered reactions from the past! No Union Budget feels complete without the viral video from the NDA ally and Republican Party of India (A) President.

Nearly five years ago, Athawale reacting to the 2019-20 interim Budget garnered all the eyes on social media—and for good reason. His simple yet enthusiastic take on the Budget continues to entertain netizens.

Back in 2019, while praising the Budget presented by then Finance Minister Piyush Goyal, Athawale declared: "19-20 Budget is a very nice budget, best budget, for middle-class people, Scheduled Caste people, Scheduled Tribe people, OBC people, and for farmers. This budget is also a very nice budget."

His straightforward and repetitive praise made the clip an instant classic.

Even top business figures enjoy Athawale’s iconic Budget review. Last year, RPG Enterprises Chairman Harsh Goenka reshared the 2019 viral clip, adding his witty take.

Posting the video on X (formerly Twitter), Goenka wrote: "Every year, thousands share their thoughts on the Budget. But this statement remains an all-time favourite! Such pure and deep dissection….."

As Budget 2025 unfolds, will Ramdas Athawale gift us another memorable reaction? Keep an eye out!
