New Delhi: Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella met Telangana municipal administration and urban development (MA&UD) Minister K.T. Rama Rao on Friday in Hyderabad.

The Microsoft CEO is of Telugu origin and was born in the city of Hyderabad. He studied at the Hyderabad Public School, and his father, B. Nadella Yugandhar, was a former IAS officer. After finishing his engineering at Manipal, he moved to the United States for further studies and settled there.
In October last year, Nadella was awarded the third-highest civilian award in the nation, the Padma Bhushan.
Earlier, as part of his India trip Nadella met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On Thursday, Satya Nadella expressed his admiration for the Indian government's emphasis on sustainable economic growth supported by digital transformation.

“We’re looking forward to helping India realize the Digital India vision and be a light for the world,” Nadella tweeted after the meet. He said that the meeting was “insightful” and that India’s push towards “sustainable and inclusive economic growth” was inspiring.
