Telangana Formation Day: 21 Years of TRS Party plenary function being held at Hitex in Hyderabad on Wednesday
Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party celebrates its 21st Foundation Day of the party on Wednesday at Hyderabad International Convention Center. The party will introduce 11 resolutions, one of which will address national and state issues.
The plenary session is expected to draw around 3,000 delegates. Ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, Chairpersons of various corporations, Zilla Parishad chairpersons, Mayors and Municipal Chairpersons, among others, have been asked to attend.
The TRS has painted Hyderabad pink. It is all pink (the colour of the TRS flag), on roads leading towards the plenary venue at Novotel, HICC in Hyderabad. Pink flags, posters, banners, festoons and flexes have come up in various parts of Hyderabad, especially at major traffic intersections.
A boat decked up with TRS flags and posters in Hussain Sagar lake in the heart of the city was the centre of attraction on the eve of the plenary.

TRS working president KT Rama Rao expressed his gratitude to be part of an inspiring 2-decade journey. Taking this to his Twitter, KTR wrote: "Two decades ago, our leader Sri KCR Garu founded the TRS Party to make the aspirations of the people of Telangana a reality. Very grateful to be a part of this inspiring journey from agitation to administration."

"The plenary will decide what should be our stand in national-level politics and on national issues and what we will do in the state, how we should work and how to win elections for the third time," TRS working president KTR said, as quoted by IANS.
