Telangana State Public Service Commission Announces Group 1 2022 Exam Dates

TSPSC has decided to conduct Group 1 Preliminary Exam on October 16

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has decided to conduct Group 1 Preliminary Exam on October 16. The details of the exam centres and hall tickets will be updated on the TSPSC website in due course. The main exam is likely to be held in January/February 2023.

TSPSC Group 1 Preliminary Exam applications were received at a record level. As per the data released by TSPSC, 3,80,202 candidates had applied for a total of 503 posts. There are an average of 756 contestants per post.

Of the 503 posts, 225 were reserved for women. 1,51,192 people applied for these posts. That means an average of 672 persons are competing for each post. Around 51,553 government employees also applied for Group-1 positions.

  • Assistant Audit Officer - 40
  • Assistant Treasury Officer - 38 
  • Administrative ‌Officer - 20
  • Deputy Superintendent of Police Posts - 91
  • DSP Posts in Prisons - 2
  • Posts of Assistant Commissioner of Labor - 8
  • District Employment Officer Posts - 2
  • District Minority Welfare Officer Posts - 6
  • Grade-2 Municipal Commissioner Posts - 35
  • Zonal Council Development Officer Posts - 121
  • District Panchayat Officer Posts - 5
  • Commercial Tax Officer Posts - 48
  • Deputy Collectors Posts - 42
  • Assistant Excise Superintendent Posts - 26
  • Regional Transport Officer Posts - 4 
  • District Tribal Welfare Officer Posts - 2
