Telangana: PM Modi To Lay Foundation Stone For Projects, CM KCR Likely To Skip Event

This is the fourth time KCR is skipping the reception for PM at the airport.

Chennai: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekar Rao is likely to skip meeting Prime Minister Modi while he arrives at Hyderabad to dedicate Ramagundam fertilizer plant to the nation on November 12. CM KCR is likely to skip the reception at the airport and the event. 

The ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) said that Prime Minister’s Office reportedly did not send an official invitation to the Chief Minister for the event.

This is the fourth time KCR is skipping the reception for PM at the airport.

PM Modi's Schedule

At Telangana, PM Modi is expected to lay foundation stone of multiple projects worth over Rs. 9500 crore in Ramagundam. He will dedicate Fertilizer plant at Ramagundam to the nation.

The Plant would ensure adequate and timely supply of urea fertilizer to the farmers in the state of Telangana as well as in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Chattisgarh and Maharashtra.

Prime Minister will dedicate Bhadrachalam Road- Sattupalli rail line to the nation, which has been built at a cost of around Rs. 1000 crore. He will also lay the foundation stone of various road projects worth over Rs. 2200 crores, namely Medak-Siddipet-Elkathurthy section of NH-765DG; Bodhan-Basar-Bhainsa section of NH-161BB; Sironcha to Mahadevpur Section of NH-353C, as per PIB.

Meanwhile, Union Minister Kishan Reddy said, "Hearty welcome to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @NarendraModi Ji to Telangana. A new paradigm of socio-economic development with impetus to #AtmaNirbharBharat is shaping under your visionary leadership. We all, here in Telangana, are looking forward to welcome & hear you."
