Telangana BJP Chief Kishan Reddy Slams BRS Government As '30 Pc Share' Regime

The Union Minister and the Telangana Party's state unit president G. Kishan Reddy criticised alleged corrupt practises within the ruling BRS government. He said the ruling BRS government has become a "30 per cent share regime". Reddy accused Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's administration of unjust behaviour, claiming that anyone wanting to do business in the state is required to provide a share to the BRS party. He made these remarks while addressing a public meeting in Hyderabad on Sunday.

"If someone wants to do business in this state, they will have to shell out a share to the BRS party. If anyone wants to construct apartments, they will have to give a flat to BRS leaders. The BRS government has transformed itself as a 30 per cent (share) regime," Reddy alleged.

He said that Telangana has become the most corrupt State during KCR’s nine-year rule.

He argued that whether it's business activities or government initiatives like the farmers' investment support programme 'Rythu Bandhu', nothing gets done in the BRS government without a 30 percent commission. Reddy further asserted that the BRS party is exploiting the populace and "sucking the blood of the people."

Reddy pointed out that the Congress, BRS, and AIMIM had previously collaborated, suggesting that a vote for any one of these parties would inadvertently support the other two as well. He urged the people to consider giving the BJP an opportunity, emphasising that they had witnessed the performance of the Congress and BRS governments over the years. He appealed for the people's blessings to bring about a change and better administration in Telangana through the BJP.

Blaming the land sale programmes taken up by the BRS government, Reddy said Hyderabad has become like an "ATM for BRS leaders".

Additionally, Reddy accused the police of using batons against BJP cadres and farmers from Nirmal town who were protesting against the state government's move to implement a master plan in the town on Saturday.

Alleging that a politically bankrupt BRS government was creating a police State, he said that the police, who were supposed to protect the lives of the people, were behaving like BRS leaders instead.
