PM Narendra Modi Threatening To Topple TRS Government, Alleges Telangana CM KCR
Telangana CM KCR also claimed that the BJP was dividing people for narrow political gain, causing issues for leaders working for the people.
New Delhi: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday of threatening to topple his government, questioning whether it is PM Modi's goal to pull down the governments of those who question him.
Addressing a public meeting at the MVS College ground in Mahbubnagar district, the chief minister asked, "When we questioned the Centre, the Prime Minister himself said KCR we will topple your government. What does this mean? Have we not got elected like you? Why do you want to topple?"
He also claimed that Prime Minister Modi had once said 40 MLAs from Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's party were in contact with him.
"Can a Prime Minister speak like this? Is buying MLAs a democratic policy? "When some thieves came to Hyderabad to lure the TRS MLAs, and topple our government, we caught and put them in jail," said CM KCR while referring to the recent arrest of three alleged BJP agents trying to lure four TRS MLAs with offers of huge sums of money to make them defect to the saffron party.
KCR claimed that the BJP was dividing people for narrow political gain, causing issues for leaders working for the people by spreading lies and resorting to attacks. He alleged that the Center is creating hurdles for democratically elected state governments.

He urged the people to have discussions in their villages on what is happening in the country today. He said the people, especially the youth, should know what is happening as they may have to pay a heavy price for their indifference. Assuring people that he would continue to stand by them, he appealed to them to stand by him.
CM KCR also reminded PM Modi of his promise to complete the Palamuru-Rangareddy lift irrigation project, which he made in 2014. According to the Chief Minister, the state government was determined to complete the project, which will irrigate 25-30 lakh acres, despite the Center's lack of cooperation, as alleged by him.
