'Madam FM Lost It Completely' — Telangana Minister KTR Retorts After Nirmala Sitharaman's 'Tantrik' Remark

Condemning Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's remark over Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's belief in tantra and numerology, state IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao slammed the senior BJP leader and said she had "lost it completely".

During a day-long trip to Chennai, the union finance minister speaking to news agency ANI accused KCR of believing in tantras and numerology. She said, "Telangana CM KCR, on the advice of Tantriks, stopped going to the Secretariat, and now believing in tantra and numerology has changed the party's name (from TRS) to BRS."

Terming FM Nirmala Sitharaman's statements "disastrous side effects of Jumlanomics", KTR tweeted, "I thought only the Rupee was on a free fall. Madam FM seems to have lost it completely!! What a fall."

Earlier, responding to Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay's comments about CM KCR, KTR tweeted, "asking the BJP not to set free such leaders as there is every possibility of their madness going beyond the control and them biting people."

KTR advised the BJP to get Bandi Sanjay admitted to a mental hospital and get him treated. He further said that Bandi Sanjay with his reckless words made himself a danger to society.

Meanwhile, a couple of MPs of Congress in Telangana are likely to leave the party around the time its leader Rahul Gandhi is in Telangana for his 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', TRS working president KT Rama Rao predicted.
