Telangana Polls: Voted For Betterment, Says KT Rama Rao After Casting His Vote

Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao also appealed to the citizens to exercise their franchise in the elections.

Telangana Minister and BRS MLA KT Rama Rao, having dutifully cast his vote in the Assembly Elections 2023, urged fellow citizens to actively participate in the democratic process. Expressing his commitment to the state's progress, KTR said that he voted for the people who would take the state forward in a progressive manner.
 
Telangana started to vote from 7 AM to 5 PM in 106 constituencies and from 7 AM to 4 PM in 13 Left Wing Extremism (LWE) affected areas. A grand total of 2,290 candidates, among them Chief Minister KCR, his son K T Rama Rao, State Congress President A Revanth Reddy, and BJP Lok Sabha members Bandi Sanjay Kumar and D Arvind, are competing for the 119 seats in the Assembly.
 
After casting his vote, Telangana minister and BRS MLA KT Rama Rao said, "I have done my duty as a citizen of Telangana. I voted for betterment, I voted for my state. I voted for people who will take the state forward in a progressive manner. I appeal to all citizens of Telangana to come out and exercise your franchise."
 

On Wednesday, a day after whirlwind campaigning came to an end in the state, KTR donated blood at Telangana Bhavan on the occasion of Deeksha Divas.
In an informal chat with the media, the Minister said that BRS would win even the constituencies it lost in 2018 elections.
