'Bandit's Rashtra Samithi, Not Bharat Rashtra Samithi': YS Sharmila Takes Dig At Telangana CM KCR

At a time when Telangana Chief Minister and party supremo has inaugurated the Bharat Rashtra Samithi office in Delhi Wednesday, YSRTP chief YS Sharmila pointing out the high-level corruption called the party Bandit's Rashtra Samithi. She also slammed the CM calling him the richest bandit in the country.

"It's Bandit's Rashtra Samiti, not Bharat Rashtra Samithi. He's (KCR) richest bandit in country as he's involved in Kaleshwaram corruption&Kaleshwaram project is India's biggest scam today as he siphoned off Rs 70,000 Cr of funds from financial institutions," YS Sharmila said as quoted by news agency ANI.

The YSRTP leader also alleged that CM KCR has been using the police department to curb her personal rights. "I'm not allowed to step out of house even to go to HC when we moved lunch motion for padayatra issue yesterday. Am I under house arrest? I've not been served notice. Nothing official but there's Police everywhere," she told ANI.

Earlier on Tuesday, Telangana High Court granted permission to YS Sharmila to resume her 'Praja Prasthanam Padyatra', which was stopped on November 28 after an alleged attack by Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) workers in Warangal district.

The court, however, asked Sharmila to abide by the conditions imposed earlier while allowing her to resume the walkathon. Hearing a lunch motion moved by Sharmila over denial of permission by the police, the court found fault with the action by the police authorities.
