After Linda Yaccarino, Yet Another NBCUniversal Executive Joins Twitter
Benarroch's appointment comes at a time when several other executives have recently departed from Twitter.
Joe Benarroch, a former executive at NBCUniversal, will be joining Twitter on Monday to take on a new role focused on business operations, as confirmed by Benarroch himself in an email to Reuters. Expressing his enthusiasm, Benarroch stated that he is eager to collaborate with Twitter's team and collectively work towards building what he referred to as "Twitter 2.0."
Linda Yaccarino, the incoming Chief Executive of Twitter who assumed her position in May, warmly welcomed Benarroch to the company via a tweet: "Welcome to the flock, @benarroch_joe! From one bird to the next." However, Yaccarino did not specifically disclose the nature of Benarroch's new position.

During his tenure at NBCUniversal, Benarroch held the responsibility of overseeing the communication strategy within the Advertising and Partnerships division, reporting directly to Yaccarino. It is worth noting that Yaccarino previously held the role of advertising chief at NBCUniversal before transitioning to Twitter.
Benarroch's appointment comes at a time when several other executives have recently departed from Twitter, which adds to the challenges faced by Yaccarino in her new role.
Ella Irwin, the head of trust and safety at Twitter, revealed her resignation from the social media company on Thursday. Following that, it was reported by Reuters on Friday that A.J. Brown, who served as the head of brand safety and ad quality, has also made the decision to leave the company.
The departure of these executives highlights the ongoing changes within Twitter's leadership team and the need for new talent to fill important roles within the organization.
As Twitter welcomes Joe Benarroch and bids farewell to other key figures, it remains to be seen how these personnel changes will shape the future of the social media platform and its overall strategy.
