ChatGPT Violates Data Breach Concerns: Italy Watchdog

Italy's data protection watchdog informed OpenAI that its artificial intelligence (AI) application, ChatGPT, violates data protection regulations. In a statement, the regulator, after conducting a probe initiated last year, identified elements suggesting potential violations. Furthermore, the authority specified that OpenAI has a 30-day window to present defense arguments. Notably, ChatGPT faced a temporary ban by the Italian data authority last year due to alleged breaches of EU privacy rules.

OnePlus Returns To Germany

Handset maker OnePlus is offering its latest smartphones in Germany, quickly after the signing of a cross-license 5G patent agreement between Nokia and Oppo, the media has reported. The deal was inked just five days ago. The OnePlus Open foldable is currently available for purchase in Germany, while the OnePlus 12 and 12R are open for pre-order, aligning with the timeline observed in other European countries, says a report by GSMArena.
