Reports indicate that Durov was accompanied by a woman, reportedly his girlfriend, who was also arrested. This woman, identified as Juli Vavilova, is now a subject of speculation regarding the circumstances of Durov's arrest. There are rumours doing the rounds in the market, due to which many believe that Durov was honeytrapped into his arrest.

Online theories suggest that Vavilova might have been under surveillance or investigation, which inadvertently led to Durov's detention. It is also possible that she might have attracted unwanted attention to both herself and Durov, or that she was somehow involved in the events surrounding his arrest.
