Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi Pad 5 And Xiaomi Smart TV 5A India Launch Today: Here's How To Watch Livestream, Expected Specs And Prices

New Delhi: Handset maker Xiaomi is set to launch its much-anticipated flagship Xiaomi 12 Pro in the country at its Spring Summer Flagship Event today (on Wednesday). The company will also unveil the Xiaomi Pad 5 and Xiaomi Smart TV 5A alongside the Xiaomi 12 Pro. The launch event can be seen via the company's social media channels and it can be watched in the video embedded below.

 

As we already know, Xiaomi 12 Pro is the flagship smartphone from the company that will rival the likes of Samsung Galaxy S22 series, iPhone 13, OnePlus 10 Pro among others. Earlier in March, the company had unveiled its flagship Xiaomi 12 series comprising the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12X globally.

Xiaomi 12 Pro expected price and specs in India

The Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G is likely to be priced around Rs 65,000 for the base model as the phone was unveiled at a starting price of CNY 4,699 or roughly Rs 56,200 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. 

The Xiaomi 12 Pro is a powerful flagship with a 6.73-inch QHD+ (1,440 x 3,200 pixel) LTPO AMOLED screen with 1,500 nits of peak brightness and a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus on top. It has a dynamic refresh rate that goes up to 120 Hz and 480 Hz touch sampling rate. The device features a triple camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX707 sensor with OIS as its main sensor, a 50MP portrait lens and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. For selfies, there is a 32MP camera.

The device has a 4,600mAh battery that supports 120W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging and also reverse wireless charging capacity up to 10W.

The company will also launch the Xiaomi Pad 5 with 33W fast charging and a Snapdragon 860 SoC, its first tab in India in seven years. The Xiaomi Pad 5 was earlier launched in the company's home turf China and other global markets recently. The Indian variant of the Xiaomi Pad 5 is likely to come with the same set of specifications as the global models and the tablet will compete with rivals such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, Lenovo Tab P11, Realme Pad, Galaxy Tab S7 FE among others.
