The anticipated release of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is slated for the latter part of this year, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Rumours suggest that Samsung will employ both Qualcomm and Exynos chipsets in its upcoming generation of foldable phones. Among these speculations, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 has reportedly surfaced on the Geekbench website, featuring a custom Snapdragon chipset. This top-of-the-line System on Chip (SoC) incorporates a higher-clocked prime core and a higher-clocked GPU, already found in the flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra.

These specifications align with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform designed for Galaxy devices.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6: Features, Launch Date (Expected)
The data from the listings indicates that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will run on Android 14 and have approximately 6.75GB of RAM, which could effectively be rounded up to 8GB on paper. These listings were dated April 17 and were initially spotted by SamMobile.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is anticipated to make its debut in July during an Unpacked event in Paris, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Reports suggest that it will feature a larger cover display compared to the Galaxy Z Flip 5, possibly offering a 120Hz refresh rate instead of the previous 60Hz refresh rate. It is rumored to be available with options for either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and storage capacities of 256GB or 512GB. Color options may include light blue, light green, silver, and yellow. Additionally, the foldable is expected to support 25W charging.
