OnePlus Nord 2T With 80W SUPERVOOC Fast Charging Debuts In India: Prices, Specs And More

After a series of leaks and rumours, Chinese handset maker OnePlus on Friday officially unveiled the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G in India. The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G takes the essentials of the OnePlus Nord 2 that was unveiled in India in 2020 and "upgraded them in big ways" for users, according to the company. The OnePlus Nord 2T comes with the company's proprietary flagship 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging that debuted on the OnePlus 10 Pro, a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset, an AI-enhanced camera and runs on OxygenOS 12.1.

OnePlus Nord 2T 5G price, colours, availability in India offers

The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G will go on sale in the country on July 5 at 12 Noon on OnePlus.in, OnePlus Store App, Amazon.in, OnePlus Experience stores and OnePlus' authorised partner stores. The device's starting price is Rs 28,999 for the base 8GB/128GB model which has two colour variants: Jade Fog and Gray Shadow. The 12GB/256GB OnePlus 2T variant is also available in the same colour options for a price of Rs 33,999.

In terms of bank offers, ICICI credit and debit card users will be eligible for an instant bank discount of Rs 1500 on Amazon.in, OnePlus.in, OnePlus Store App, OnePlus experience stores and other major offline partner stores between July 5 to July 11. ICICI credit and debit card users can also avail of no-cost EMI for up to three months till the end of July.

Other offers include benefits for old OnePlus device users who can save additional Rs 3000 on oneplus.in and OnePlus store between July 5 to July 14. Also, the first 1000 shoppers on OnePlus Store App will get a OnePlus Nord Handy Fanny Pack.

OnePlus Nord 2T 5G specs and features

The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G runs on Android 12-based OxygenOS 12.1 on top. The device comes with a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The display has a hole-punch design and HDR10+ certification and has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM. In terms of imaging, there's a triple rear camera setup led by a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP monochrome sensor.

The smartphone has dual stereo speakers as well as noise cancellation support. The phone is powered by a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery that supports proprietary 80W SuperVOOC fast charging and the company is also providing a charger in the box. 

Connectivity options on the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G are Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS/ NavIC, 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.

At this price point, the Nord 2T competes with the likes of the newly launched Poco F4 5G and Vivo V23 5G.
