Nothing Phone 1 Launched: India Prices, Availability, Offers And More

Carl Pei's consumer tech brand on Tuesday launched its first smartphone, the Nothing Phone 1 at an event in London after a lot of leaks and rumours. The device is likely to be available on e-commerce site Flipkart and the company's own website on July 21. The India price of the Nothing Phone 1 will start at Rs 32,999 for the base 128GB+8GB model. Flipkart is India's exclusive channel partner for the Nothing Phone 1.

Nothing Phone 1 specs, prices and availability in India

The Nothing Phone 1 has been unveiled in three storage variants: 8GB RAM+128GB storage, 8GB RAM+256GB memory and 12GB RAM/256GB memory models. Prospective buyers with can avail of a Rs 2,000 instant discount on purchasing the Nothing Phone 1 via HDFC Bank cards. The starting price of Nothing Phone 1 of the base variant is Rs 32,999 while the 8GB RAM+256GB storage variant will cost Rs 35,999 and 12GB RAM+256GB storage model will cost Rs 38,999 in India. The company is offering a Rs 1,000 discount on Nothing Phone 1 as part of an introductory offer.

As expected, the Phone 1 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 778+ SoC and up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 33W wired charging, 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging. The device runs on Android 12-based Nothing OS out which is close to vanilla Android. Nothing has promised three years of Android updates and four years of security updates every two months for the Nothing Phone 1.

In terms of imaging, the Nothing Phone 1 features two rear cameras led by a 50MP primary Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS and EIS and another 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide sensor. The Nothing Phone 1 has a 6.55-inch 10-bit OLED display with supports for 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, HDR10+ and has up to 1200 nits of peak brightness.

Other connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and 802.11 a/b/g/, in-display fingerprint reader, facial recognition, dual stereo speakers, and IP53 rating.
