The Big Billion Days sale by Flipkart commenced on Sunday, with an early start for Flipkart Plus subscribers. The sale offers significant discounts on a range of products including smartphones, laptops, home electronic appliances, and more. As for the Redmi 12 5G, making its global debut in India, it comes in three storage variants: 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB, all available at discounted prices.

Both the Redmi 12 4G and 5G versions share a premium design featuring a glass back panel, silver metallic rims accenting the camera setup, and a weight of approximately 198.5 grams. They boast a 6.79-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, incorporating a punch-hole notch design and slim bezels on three sides. The primary camera setup on the rear includes a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera, while the front-facing camera is 8-megapixel.

The Redmi 12 5G, like its 4G counterpart, exhibits the same design characteristics and display features. Additionally, it is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth camera, and an LED flash. Running on MIUI 14 based on Android 13, the Redmi 12 5G introduces the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor to the Indian market, promising smooth performance. To keep the device powered, it houses a 5,000mAh battery supporting 18W charging through a type C USB port.
