Tamil Nadu: OPS’s Brother O Raja Meets Sasikala In Tiruchendur Amid Turmoil In AIADMK

Chennai: Amid turmoil in AIADMK over induction of former AIADMK general secretary VK Sasikala and her nephew TTV Dhinakaran into the party fold, AIADMK coordinator O Panneerselvam's brother O Raja met Sasikala in Tiruchendur on Friday. The meeting of OPS's brother comes just after Theni AIADMK functionaries passed a resolution demanding to include Sasikala and Dhinakaran back into the party.
According to a report on The New Indian Express, Sasikala reached Tiruchendur on Friday as part of her spiritual trip and was staying in a private hotel.
O Raja who already checked into the same hotel met her after she offered her prayer at Tiruchendur Murugan Temple.

The meet reportedly went for 25 minutes but Raja refused to address the press about the talks.
It is expected that Raja is set to meet Sasikala again in Tenkasi on Saturday.
The talks between Raja and Sasikala, amid O Panneerselvam reigniting the talks of a merger with AMMK and to induct Sasikala into the party folds, has raised a lot of speculations.

The Theni resolution even received endorsement from the stronghold of EPS, Coimbatore district. The former Kavundamapalayam MLA VC Arukutty said Sasikala and Dhinakaran can only stop the fall of AIADMK and revive the party.
However, South Chennai North East district unit secretary Aadhi Rajaram said even OPS would not accept the reinduction of Sasikala and Dhinakaran into the party.
Edappadi Palaniswami and O Panneerselvam are continuously holding discussions with functionaries over the induction.
