Opposition Meet In Patna: Stalin Seeks Postponement But Says 'DMK Will Surely Attend'
Stalin also pointed out that Congress president Kharge will be held up at a different event and won't be able to attend the meeting on that day.
Tamil Nadu CM Stalin said that the DMK will attend the Opposition parties meeting in Patna on June 12. However, he sought a postponement of the meeting as he will be attending the inaugural ceremony of Mettur dam on the same day.
According to ANI, TN CM Stalin said, "I will be attending the inauguration ceremony of the Mettur Dam on the day when the opposition meeting in Bihar is going to happen. It is an important event. Even the Congress president will be held up at a different event and won't be able to attend the meeting on that day. So, I have requested to postpone the meeting. However, DMK will surely attend the meet."

While addressing the reporters at Chennai Airport, Stalin also said that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM will hold a talk with him regarding the grand Opposition alliance against BJP at the Centre on Thursday. Stalin said, “Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will be meeting me tomorrow (Thursday) in Chennai. We have already started discussions on the formation of an anti-BJP alliance and we will get there.”
Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal tweeted that he will be meeting TN CM Stalin to seek his support against Centre's ordinance. Kejriwal said, "Will be meeting Tamil Nadu CM Thiru @mkstalin in Chennai tomorrow (1st June) to seek DMK's support against Centre's unconstitutional-undemocratic 'Anti-Delhi' Ordinance."
On May 19, the Centre promulgated an ordinance to create an Authority for the transfer and posting of Group-A officers in Delhi.
