Kodanad Heist-Cum-Murder Case: VK Sasikala To Be Questioned In Chennai On Thursday
Till now, Sasikala has not been questioned by police in the infamous Kodanad heist-cum-murder case that took place in 2017.
Chennai: The Nilgiris police on Wednesday summoned VK Sasikala, aide of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, for questioning in Kodanad heist and murder case on Thursday. The police are mulling to investigate about the articles stolen from the estate and the deaths of the persons linked with the case among others.
A tweet from ANI said, “VK Sasikala will be questioned by a special team at Chennai tomorrow: IG Sudhakar, West Zone, Coimbatore.”
Sasikala is also a shareholder of Kodanad estate. However, till now, Sasikala has not been questioned in Kodanad heist-cum-murder case.
On Monday, a special police team investigated AIADMK functionary N Ravi in connection with the case. A team led by IG (West Zone) Sudhakar questioned N Ravi on Police Recruits School campus in Coimbatore.

The probe that started at 11 am ended by 5 pm.
Ravi was questioned since it was found that the prime suspect in the case C Kanagaraj, who died in a car accident in 2017, contacted Ravi before the heist.

On April 15, AIADMK MLA VC Arukutty was also questioned in the case.
After the probe, Arukutty said that Kanagaraj worked as his driver and so officials wanted him to talk about Kanagaraj.
He also said that he shared all the details he knew about Kangaraj to him.
One of the main accused of the case, Kanagaraj was killed in a road accident in Hosur. During the same time, another accused in the case Sayan also met with an accident but escaped with injuries in Salem.
