Fan Of Actor Ajith Dies After Jumping From Moving Truck In His Excitement To Watch 'Thunivu'
The police have registered a case and the investigation is on.
Chennai: A fan of actor Ajith Kumar who came to watch first show of movie Thunivu died after jumping from a moving lorry in the excitement in Chennai on Wednesday.
Initially, the fan jumped from the lorry and sustained injuries. However, he later died without responding to treatment.
According to ANI, Police officials said, “Tamil Nadu | Bharath Kumar, a fan of actor Ajith Kumar, who jumped in excitement from a slow-moving lorry succumbed to injuries on Poonamallee highways near Rohini theatre, Chennai.”
“Case registered. He had come to watch #Thunivu film's 1 am show at the theater,” they said.

The police are currently investigating the case.

The movies Thunivu and Varisu of star actors Ajith Kumar and Vijay respectively released on Wednesday. As a result, thousands of fans gathered in front of the theatres across Tamil Nadu to celebrate the release of the movies ahead of Pongal.
The fans burst crackers, played music, danced, put up posters in the theatres in the wee hours of Wednesday.
During the celebrations, the fans also performed many dangerous things. In another incident, a fan lit a cracker and whipped himself with the crackers. He also threw away the lit crackers.
