DVAC Conducts Searches At Residence Of IAS Officer Malarvizhi In Corruption Case

The corruption reportedly took place while she was serving as the District Collector of Dharmapuri from February 2018 to October 2020.

The Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) started to raid the residence of IAS officer S Malarvizhi in Chennai on Tuesday in connection with the FIR filed against her for alleged corruption. The FIR filed on Monday said that the corruption reportedly took place while she was serving as the District Collector of Dharmapuri from February 2018 to October 2020.

The raid is underway in connection with an FIR lodged against her for alleged corruption during her posting as the District Collector of Dharmapuri from February 2018 to October 2020.”

The FIR said that there was malpractice in the procurement of disinfectants during the coronavirus period when Malarvizhi was the Collector of Dharmapuri, said a report on ABP Nadu. Malarvizhi is currently the Chairperson of Science City.
