From Jobs To Infrastructure Boost: Here's What Yogi Govt Has In Store For UP
The Yogi Adityanath-led UP government has decided to take steps to generate employment and give a major boost to infrastructural development in the state.
UP News: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has decided to take major steps in a bid to generate employment and give a major boost to infrastructural development in the state. In line with his goals, he is all set to continue the distribution of appointment letters to selected youths across departments under 'Mission Rozgar'.
According to a statement released by the state government, the Yogi Adityanath-led government has provided more than 6,50,000 youths with government jobs over the past seven years. Besides this, the UP government has also planned to develop a solar park on the BOO model to generate 450 MW of electricity.
UP Govt’s ‘Mission Rozgar’
With the aim of boosting employment in the state, the UP government has come up with a campaign called ‘Mission Rozgar’. The UP CM is set to continue the distribution of appointment letters to selected youths across departments.
According to a statement released by the Yogi Adityanath-led government, the UP government has successfully provided more than 650,000 youths with government jobs over the past seven years.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath personally distributed appointment letters in February and March ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the statement added.
The statement also informed that after the Lok Sabha elections, appointment letters were handed out to 7,720 youths on July 10 for the post of Lekhpal.
Since coming back to power for a second term in 2022, the UP CM has distributed appointment letters at various programmes to demonstrate his ongoing commitment to generating employment in the state, the statement read.
In his programmes, Yogi Adityanath mentioned that the National Education Policy 2020 has been implemented, and along with the regular curriculum, various types of job-oriented courses are now being offered.
Bundelkhand Expressway To Have UP's Longest Solar Park
The UP government has decided to develop a solar park on both sides of the Bundelkhand Expressway. According to a statement released by the state government, the solar park will be developed on the 'Build, Own, and Operate' (BOO) model to generate 450 MW of electricity.
This solar park will cover approximately 1,700 hectares under the supervision of the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA), the statement informed.
UPEIDA has allocated 1,700 hectares of land for the solar park, located between the main carriageway and the service road along the 296-kilometre Bundelkhand Expressway from Etawah to Chitrakoot. The land's average width is between 15 to 20 metres.
Yogi Adityanath Govt’s Step To Encourage Ethical Work Culture
The Yogi Adityanath government has aimed to foster an ethical work culture among employees in urban transport. In line with this goal, the driver and conductor of Ghaziabad's Bahrampur bus depot will receive certificates for their honesty during duty.
According to a statement released by the UP government, when a woman passenger left her purse on the bus, driver Asif and conductor Satyendra promptly informed the depot, leading to the purse being returned to her family. The purse contained Rs. 6,000 in cash and other essential items. After an investigation, the purse was returned to the passenger's family.
