SP chief Akhilesh Yadav Not To Attend Public Events For Three Days, Tweets Reason

Akhilesh Yadav wrote on Twitter, "As the family members are corona positive, we will not be able to attend public events as we take precautions for three days."

New Delhi: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav's wife Dimple Yadav and their daughter tested positive for Coronavirus on Wednesday. In the wake of the development, Akhilesh Yadav said that he would not attend public events for the next three days.

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav wrote on Twitter, "As the family members are corona positive, we will not be able to attend public events as we take precautions for three days. Best wishes for the immense success of today's Joint Rally of Iglas 'SP-RALOD' and appeal to all workers to be active with full enthusiasm and energy. "

It is to be mentioned that Dimple Yadav herself shared the information about being infected by coronavirus on Twitter. Though there was speculation throughout the day, the Samajwadi Party kept rejecting it. Confirming the development on Twitter, Dimple Yadav wrote, "I got the covid test done, and the report is positive. I am fully vaccinated and still not showing any symptoms. For the safety of myself and others, I have isolated myself. All those who have recently met me are requested to get their tests done soon."

However, Akhilesh's RT-PCR report has come back negative.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called and enquired about the health of Akhilesh Yadav's wife and his daughter, and wished the family a speedy recovery.
