Sharad Pawar, Ram Gopal, Akhilesh Meet Lalu Yadav In Delhi As Preparations For UP Elections Begin

Sharad Pawar and Akhilesh Prasad Singh have indicated that it was a formal meeting to check on the well-being of Lalu Yadav.

Patna: Assembly elections are due in UP next year. Yogi Adityanath's government is in power in UP at present. Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar met RJD supremo Lalu Prasad on Wednesday amid preparations for the assembly elections.

Socialist leader Ram Gopal Yadav, and Congress Rajya Sabha member, Akhilesh Prasad Singh were also present with him. This meeting took place at the official residence of Misa Bharti. After this meeting, speculations have been rife in the political corridors.

Sharad Pawar wrote that he met Rashtriya Janata Dal President Lalu Prasad Yadav and inquired about his health. He tweeted, "Met Lalu Yadav after a long time and it was a pleasure to meet him."

Lalu Yadav active after coming out on bail

Since he has been out on bail, Lalu Yadav has intensified his political activities. Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Yadav has become active after coming out of jail on bail. Lalu Yadav is staying with his daughter and Rajya Sabha member Misa Bharti's official residence in Delhi.

Sharad Pawar's Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has joined hands with the Samajwadi Party (SP) in the elections.
