No Need To Go To Court To Settle Traffic Challans, Virtual Court Starts In Noida

In view of the increasing number of court cases, V-court has been started in Noida. Now people will not have to visit the court or hire a lawyer to settle traffic challan disputes.

Virtual Court in Noida: After the establishment of Virtual Court (V-Court) in Noida, people will not have to visit the court for issues like traffic challan payments. One will be able to settle their invoices remotely and can also lodge an online complaint in case of any dispute relating to traffic challans.

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic and the increasing caseload in the courts, V-Court started in Noida. Due to these V-Courts, the general public will not have to make rounds of the court anymore and will be able to settle their traffic fines at the comfort of their homes. People will be able to take advantage of this facility from Monday onwards.

In this court, people will have to settle their challan dues within 90 days. If the challan dues are not settled within 90 days, legal proceedings will be initiated.

No need to visit court or hire a lawyer

You generally receive a challan if you violate traffic rules. If the dues of the challan are not settled on time, it is forwarded to court. You then have to hire a lawyer and visit the court to complete proceedings. However, the process has now been simplified for residents of Noida.

Mobile number must be registered

According to officials, this facility will be available only to those people who have registered their mobile numbers with the local RTO while registering their vehicle. You cannot take advantage of this facility if your phone number is not registered.

It is often said that technology is a two-sided sword, a saying also applies to these V-Courts. In simple terms, legal proceedings would be initiated against you if you do not pay your traffic challan dues on time in V Court, something which could prove to be quite stressful.
