Have No Personal Issues With Dynastic Parties, Just Want Strong Opposition In Country: PM Modi In Kanpur

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a gathering at Ground Breaking Ceremony @ 3.0, UP Investors Summit in Lucknow. 

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a public gathering in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur Dehat on Friday commented on the Opposition and said that he has no problem with anyone adding that he just wants a strong opposition in the country, reported news agency ANI. He further said that these parties "entagnled in nepotism" should rise above it. 

"The dynastic parties are huddling against me. I want to tell them that I don't have any personal issues with anyone, I just want a strong opposition in the country. These parties entangled in nepotism should rise above it to strengthen democracy," said the Prime Minister in his address. 

Speaking on re-election of his party, the Bharatiya Janata Party in teh recent Uttar Pradesh Assembly election, PM Modi said that the after the "doublr-engine government" has come in the state, situation of law and order and governance has improved in the state. He also praised the state's bureaucracy saying that it has the "power which nation wants." 

PM Modi highlighted the significance of Uttar Pradesh in overall development of the country by saying that "UP will give momentum to India's growth story in 21st century." He also said that around fifth to sixth fraction of country's population lives in UP, thus "development of one person from UP will be development of every sixth person of the country." 

Speaking on natural farming, the prime minister said that in the union budget for the current fiscal year, the government has earmerked a project which includes chemical free natural farming in five kilometre radius of both sides of river Ganga in Uttar Pradesh. He urged the farmers to adopt natural farming saying that "there is only one path to Aatma Nirbhar Bharat and it is Sabka Prayas," adding that "if our Villages progress the nation will progress." He also said that "this time is the golden opportunity for corporate world to invest in agriculture."

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a gathering at Ground Breaking Ceremony @ 3.0, UP Investors Summit in Lucknow. 

The investments are aimed to fund at least 805 projects in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) sector, 275 in agriculture and allied industries, and 65 in pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, as per the official release. Other projects include six schemes related to education worth Rs 1,183 crore, seven related to dairy worth Rs 489 crore, and six in animal husbandry worth Rs 224 crore, as per the release.
